Misty’s Go Home Lesson – see video

Misty went home yesterday and she was so delighted to see her family again. Here she is showing them the new and improved iMisty at the Botanics. Haha … She’s carrying on w her offleash obedience training so that she can do agility w Kirsten, the little girl who does fabulous cartwheels. Happy day

Here are some things Misty’s mom wants addressed while she stays w me …
• Social issues – barks when she sees other dogs, gets very excited and out of control. I’m thus very conscious when I take her out as I get so many dirty looks. Top of priority to regulate this as I really want to take her out more.
• Pulling (more like crazy tugging) on leash during walks and will not heel; and trying to chase after joggers, cyclists, motorcyclists on walks. My daughter wants to walk her but it’s impossible as she ends up walking my daughter.
I think Misty’s doing well. Her mom may just get the dog she wants. Haha …

Cody – Food Aggressive No More (see video)

Cody had a food aggression problem. His mom said that if u took a step towards him while he’s eating, he wld growl, bark fiercely and if you came too close, he would bite. He’s stayed w me for 8 days now. Lots of obedience training, leadership and management exercises and look at him now. I can interrupt his meal, touch him, move his bowl and he’s okay w it. I asked a friend to do the same and he was as good as gold. Well done, boy !!!
