School holidays. Someone suggested we go for an overseas trip with our doggies. So we chartered a ferry and spent a morning at Sister’s Island. I was so proud of our doggies. They didn’t bark or make a nuisance of themselves, didn’t dirty the ferry terminal or the boat. Angels in fur. The boatman was so impressed with their behaviour, he asked when we were coming again

JDS Class (Week 5)

What perfect timing ! We had our last JDS session yesterday and next Saturday, our teams will be participating in the Jumper’s Competition at the PetExpo Event. To prepare for our trial, we had more challenging runs yesterday. It continued till it got dark and now we are also prepared for Night Agility Trials. Haha … Wish our teams luck. It’ll be Sunny’s first competition and for Jazz, Slippers and Taffy, their second .

A group of beginner, intermediate and competition dogs wanted to continue with their agility lessons so we started a jumpers, distance & sequencing class (JDS) yesterday. We had so much fun. The handlers and the dogs were amazing !!!

Foundation & Groundwork For Dog Agility – Week 8 (see video)

It was a hot hot day yesterday but we had a blast. The teams did so well despite the punishing heat. The dogs were really attentive to their owners and despite all the dogs being in the same arena, the dogs chose to pay attn to their handlers instead of running off to play w their doggy friends or sniffing around like they usually do. I must commend the teams for all the hardwork they’ve put in. All of you did great. I’ll miss spending Saturday afternoons w you but look forward to jump class which starts End May/Early June

Today we did some target practise and the dogs were also introduced to the chute. Spent lots of time practising our front and rear crosses too. I think this week it was the handlers who were concussed. No text messages or photos from anyone last night. Haha ….
