What perfect timing ! We had our last JDS session yesterday and next Saturday, our teams will be participating in the Jumper’s Competition at the PetExpo Event. To prepare for our trial, we had more challenging runs yesterday. It continued till it got dark and now we are also prepared for Night Agility Trials. Haha … Wish our teams luck. It’ll be Sunny’s first competition and for Jazz, Slippers and Taffy, their second .

SKC Discover Dog Novice Jumper Trials 2013

Our agility team of Jazz, Slippers & Taffy took part the SKC Discover Dog Novice Jumper Trials today. It was their first time taking part in a competition and they did me proud. Jazz was doing well except for some stops when people starting taking photos of her. A star must pose for her fans right ? . Mr Slippers gave a spectacular performance. He had a clean run and earned himself a Q !!! Taffy was focused on his handler throughout the course but overran 2 jumps. He was just .65 off the SCT. Photos courtesy of Dude’s dad.

Our 6-week jump training class ended on Saturday. I’ve put the video to music and I must say I love watching the teams move. These people can definitely dance . Next week we start jump sequencing class !!! Yay !!!

101 Things To Do With A Box Game

Yesterday, during Foundation & Groundwork class, we played the “101 Things To Do With a Box” game. Essentially, the dog’s supposed to offer us more and more behaviours interacting w a box before they get a treat. I think Taffy has nailed this game. It’s officially now not called 101 but Masters Box game. Well done, Tapley family !!! U’ve hit the ball out of the park
